House Rules

Check-in is 4:00 pm or later. Early check-in is subject to availability. Please check with us regarding fees for early check-in. Check-out is at 10:00 am. A $100 fee will be charged for every 20 minutes past 10:00 am. After 1:00 pm, an additional one night’s fee will be automatically charged to your account plus the applicable late fee.

The landscaper will be scheduled for weekly maintenance on Monday or Tuesday, weather permitting. The pool technician will be scheduled for weekly maintenance on Tuesday. If you have a pet, please make sure they're safely tucked inside.

Only the number of guests listed in the reservation are permitted to be on the property unless the host is notified and approves the additional guests in advance—maximum of 12 adults per reservation. Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. Host reserves the right to discontinue reservation if quiet hours rules are violated and penalties may apply.

There are security cameras throughout the exterior of the property. Noiseaware sensors can be found inside and outside of the property. The purpose of these sensors is to notify hosts if the noise is sustained above a certain threshold. Normal conversation will not trigger alerts.

No smoking is permitted inside the home. Smoking is only allowed outside. All windows/doors must be closed and all cigarette butts disposed of properly. Vomit, stool, or blood on the property is considered a biohazard cleaning and will result in extra fees.

There is a pet fee of $100 which covers up to two pets. All pets must be authorized prior to check-in.

The reservation holder will be held liable and responsible for all guests at the property, including damage/incident fees incurred during the stay. Guests are responsible for placing all trash in the receptacles. Smart home thermostats are available for guests. Windows/doors must be shut while running heat/AC. Temperature can be adjusted on-site, but temperature limits are set.

Pool Rules: There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. No glass is allowed in the pool area.

Do not tamper with pool equipment. Weekly pool cleaning is every Friday. Our pool technician has been instructed to knock on the door before he goes into the backyard, but if no one answers the door, he will get started on cleaning the pool. Please do not burn objects or drop food items on the outdoor fire table.

The pool/spa can be heated upon request, but fees may fluctuate based on the current market price to compensate for the rising SDGE natural gas prices. Please inquire about current pricing and promotions. The pool and spa heater are remotely operated on a smart device by the host. Please let the host know in advance, preferably at the time of booking, if you would like pool or spa heating. Note that it can take up to ten hours to heat the pool to 82 degrees, especially if it is cold outside. Fees must be paid before heating can commence.

The space
Set against a lush hillside in the SoCal town of El Cajon, the showstopper at this stunning property is the amazing backyard entertainment area that all ages will love. A tropical paradise awaits outdoors with a pool, spa, waterslide, and fun games. Inside, every corner of the home has been expertly designed and loaded with cool amenities to provide a getaway experience like no other.

Enter the two-story residence and step into the main social area, where the first floor easily flows between a gleaming, state-of-the-art kitchen, sophisticated dining area, and super comfy living room. The entire space is modern and bright, creating the perfect backdrop for entertaining, sharing meals, streaming shows on the Smart TV, playing billiards, or simply relaxing by the fireplace. There is even a queen bedroom with a full bathroom on the first level ideal for those who need to avoid stairs.

Head upstairs to find the other 4 private bedrooms, including the main suite which is a luxury retreat that boasts a king bed, walk-in closet, and 4-piece bathroom with dual sink vanity and soaking tub. The other bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping options such as a bunkroom that the kiddos will love, a well-appointed queen bedroom, and another large room with a twin and queen bed. Every bedroom in the home has a smart TV with streaming cable and storage for travel items. Adding to the long list of conveniences in this home, another full bathroom with shower/tub combo is also upstairs.

The large backyard has a huge pool with a super fun waterslide and a relaxing jacuzzi that are available year-round, as well as a tiki bar, BBQ grill, shaded dining area, fire pit, playground, cornhole, ladder toss, and green space for volleyball or badminton. There's even an outdoor TV so you never miss a minute of the big game while the little ones play outside. More fun indoors includes a full gym and ping pong table in the garage. With spectacular views of the mountains and enough space for 16 guests, this property is perfectly set up to provide endless hours of entertainment and relaxation for everyone in your group!

The residence has a central HVAC system to keep the temperature comfortable year-round with two separate thermostats both upstairs and downstairs.

This home is in a family-friendly residential neighborhood – neighbors are not to be disturbed, especially during the overnight quiet hours.

If you would like the pool heated, there is an additional fee.

There is a pet fee of $100 per pet and this fee covers up to two pets.

Our natural areas offer hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fishing, and camping in the vast and beautiful wilderness that surrounds El Cajon. Spend an afternoon hiking Cowles Mountain, mountain biking through Mission Trails Regional Park, strolling along Lake Murray, or fishing on El Capitan Reservoir..

From here you can hit the Pacific Beaches in about 25 minutes with several great options to choose from including Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla Shores Beach, and Coronado Beach. For breathtaking views and the most amazing sunsets that you will ever see, visit Sunset Cliffs Natural Park – definitely an Insta-worthy spot you don’t want to miss.
