House Rules
Check-in is 4:00 pm or later. Early check-in is subject to availability. Please check with us regarding fees for early check-in. Check-out is at 10:00 am. A $100 fee will be charged for every 20 minutes past 10:00 am. After 1:00 pm, an additional one night’s fee will be automatically charged to your account plus the applicable late fee.
The landscaper will be scheduled for weekly maintenance on Tuesday or Wednesday, weather permitting. The pool technician will be scheduled for weekly maintenance on Wednesday. If you have a pet, please make sure they're safely tucked inside.
Only the number of guests listed in reservation are permitted to be on the property unless the host is notified and approved of additional guests in advance.
Quiet hours are strictly enforced. Outdoor areas are closed from 9pm-8am. Host reserves the right to discontinue reservation if quiet hours rules are violated and penalties may apply.
We do monitor the outdoor cameras during quiet hours or when the noise levels get too high and may reach out to you if you are in violation.
We use decibel sensors inside and outside of the property that are not capable of recording audio but instead notify hosts if the noise is sustained above 50 decibels inside and 30 decibels outside. Normal conversation will not trigger alerts.
There are security cameras on the exterior of the property to ensure security. There are no security cameras installed in the interior of the house.
No smoking is permitted inside the home. Smoking is only allowed outside, all windows/doors must be closed, and all butts disposed of properly. If there is any odor of smoke at the property, you will be charged a $300 cleaning fee.
-Pre-approved early check in fee is $100
-Pre-approved late check-out fee up until 11 am is $100 and up until noon is $200
VOMIT or STOOL on the property is considered a biohazard cleaning. You will be charged a $200 fee if vomit or stool is found.
There is a $100 per trip fee for all pets of any type/size. We must be notified upon booking if you intend to bring a pet. Unauthorized pets will result in a $500 fee.
There is a pet fee of $100 per pet and this fee covers up to two pets. Small dogs are acceptable.
Reservation holder will be held liable and responsible for all guests at the property, including damage/incident fees incurred during the stay.
Insurance Disclaimer:
Occupants or guests’ personal property, including vehicles, are not insured by the owner. Owner does not insure against personal injury to occupant/guests. Occupant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless owner from all claims, disputes, litigation, judgment, costs, and attorney fees resulting from loss, damage, or injury to occupant, occupant’s gusts, or their personal property.
Host must be notified immediately at the time of incidents no matter the situation. Incidents include but are not limited to: broken furniture, windows, cabinets, doors, etc., spills on upholstery or bedding, plumbing issues, complaints by neighbors or law enforcement calls.
To avoid additional cleaning fees, please follow the checkout cleaning requirements listed on the fridge. Guests are responsible for placing all trash in the receptacles.
Smart home thermostats are available for guests. Windows/doors must be shut while running heat/AC. Temperature can be adjusted on site, but temperature limits are set.
Pool Rules:
There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
No children allowed in or around the pool without adult supervision. An adult must be present any time a child is in the pool. Animals are NOT allowed in the pool. No glass of any kind is permitted in the pool. In adhering to safety laws mandated for commercial/rental properties in the state of California, if glass is broken in or around the pool area, the property owner is required to have the pool drained, pool surface scrubbed, and pool refilled. If glass is found in the pool area, this remediation expense will be paid by the reservation holder in breach of property terms and conditions. Remediation fees can be in excess of $500.
Do not tamper with pool equipment.
Weekly pool cleaning is every Wednesday. Our pool guy has been instructed to knock on the door before he goes into the backyard, but if no one answers the door, he will get started on cleaning the pool.
Please do not burn objects or drop food items in the outdoor fire table.
